Christoph A. Adami
Dr. Chris Adami is a world-renowned expert in quantum information theory, quantum computation, and the foundations of quantum mechanics. He is credited with the co-discovery of negative quantum entropy, as well as the capacity formula of quantum channels for quantum information transmission. Dr. Adami brings with him not only expertise in quantum theory, but also in molecular and evolutionary biology, where he applies classical information theory to biological problems. Dr. Adami is a Principal Scientist in the JPL Quantum Computing Technologies Group, Explorations Systems Autonomy, Section 367, Information Technologies & Software Systems Division, as well as Faculty Associate and Lecturer at Caltech, where he is the Director of the Digital Life Laboratory. Adami received his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics in 1991 from SUNY at Stony Brook, and has over 50 published articles in professional journals and conference proceedings. He is the author of the textbook Introduction to Artificial Life.
