Linear Optical Quantum Computing

Since the groundbreaking paper of Knill, LaFlamme, and Milburn (KLM)--it has been realized that simple linear optical elements are sufficient for universal, scalable quantum computing. Our group has embarked on an effort to design quantum repeaters, memories, and other devices using the KLM approach.
